This item is a truly unique piece commemorating my 130th touchdown.
This was the ball I carried across the goal line October 18, 1999, when the
NY Giants
beat the Cowboys 13-10 at Texas Stadium.
The football shows that the Cowboys won the game 13-10 (which is what I really wanted and how I want to remember it) but the Giants really won!
I had a rough game against the Giants’ defense with 22 carries for 26 yards, but I did score a touchdown which was with this very football!
We finished 8-8 that year and made the playoffs.
The 1999 season was the Dallas Cowboys' 40th in the National Football League and second under head coach Chan Gailey.
One panel has been custom-painted with my personal stats highlights from the game. If you look closely at a couple of the pics, you will see some faded notations made by the Cowboys staff regarding the game.
Please note, the football does not fully hold air as it is over 22-years-old.
